Standard Sourcing Review

Your sourcing or production partners should be very well matched to the needs of your customers or distributors and through that, your business. Your performance in design, branding and sales do not account for nearly as much if your products do not get made at the right cost, lead-time, ethical standards and quality as required by the markets that you operate in.

Your business could benefit from our Standard Sourcing Review by providing you with an objective view of your source base in relation to your business needs. We will assess the strengths and weaknesses within your sourcing or production methodology and where there might be a need to exchange current methods or sources for alternatives that would be better positioned to help achieve your targets for sustainable growth, increased profits or increased revenues.

The review is performed by one of our senior mentors and takes place over four working days at your premises. Three working days after the review we will hand over a document with our findings in relation to your sourcing or production along with our recommendations on how improvements or adjustments could be made.

During the course of the review we will need access to people in the following area's or departments (the amount of time required with each area would be scheduled as appropriate within the structure of your business):

• Logistics Management
• Finance (payment terms, cost analysis)
• Sales / Marketing

Who is this service for?

This service is aimed at smaller and medium sized businesses that buy or plan to buy from a variety of sources or are considering to do so. It is also suitable for companies that are starting or stopping a licence model and need an adaptation to their sourcing or product cycle. Larger businesses can benefit from this service as well (at a divisional level for instance, with larger projects available on quotation). Our key experience is in the fields of clothing / apparel / fashion / footwear / sportswear / accessories, which are usually using relatively complicated sourcing structures. We are willing to provide the same service for businesses outside of these fields.

Once we have processed your order you will be contacted via telephone to discuss pre-project details and to agree which week / days will be the best for our mentor(s) to perform the review for you.

The cost of this package includes four days on site of one of our experienced mentors as well as the document with our overview and recommendations. It does not include travel expenses and subsistence outside of London.

We work internationally. Please note that some countries attract a surcharge due to the travel time or complexity of travel required. Please choose the appropriate option for the correct travel location.
